About the role
As Head of Data Products & Solutions, you will be a member of the executive team, responsible for designing and implementing intelligent data solutions to meet business objectives and company strategy. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them. You will be responsible for developing Rubik's data strategy and supporting capabilities, including building out a high calibre team.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a data strategy that will drive business growth for Rubik
- Drive the design and build of Rubik's proprietary data analytics product
- Design and implement cutting-edge and scalable data solutions for customers
- Build, lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Oversee customer and Rubik data governance practices, ensuring compliance, security and ethical data handling standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities, formulate actionable insights, and drive decision-making processes
- Support with sales and marketing activities to drive business growth
The skills you'll need
- Experience in a data leadership role
- Strong technical skills in data warehousing, statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning & visualisation
- Proficiency in data analytics languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
- Experience of deploying and working with intelligent data stacks (e.g. AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Azure Databricks, Apache Kafka)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multi-disciplinary remote teams
